Every year I think to myself it won’t be as good as last year’s, but, I can safely say that the 2025 Thursford Christmas Spectacular is truly breathtaking.

The cast this year are the very best singers and dancers I’ve ever seen. There are also some familiar faces, including Anthony Harris, who has been in the show for many years and has a brilliant voice (look out for him doing the interval raffle too he’s very funny!). Highlights for us were the ‘Somewhere in my memory’ (Home Alone), Nessun Dorma (simply breathtaking and I’m almost speechless trying to write about it), and Phil Kelsall on the amazing wurlitzer (his solo is always a treat!).

My favourite part of the show is always the 2nd half when the orchestra take centre stage. The show is a variety and there really is something for everyone. In a time when the world seems very chaotic, it’s good to know we can rely on Thursford to be our constant. You can truly leave all your worries at the door and enjoy the show. I absolutely cannot rate this show highly enough and, as my mother said, ‘Can I give it 11 out of 10’?

Recommendations:-

1) Arrive early for lunch! The pies are amazing!

2) Book the outdoor light display for after the show – every year they add more to the display and it really is worth a look.
