PrimEvil is located at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, Norwich. It is easily found off the main road.

As soon as you begin your descent down the long curving drive at dusk, the atmosphere becomes suspenseful. Once you’ve pulled up and parked, you will find yourself experiencing a range of enticing yet chilling sounds. At the entrance of the park, you will find you are greeted with a rather large banner that states, “It’s time to face your fears”.

Once entering the park, a range of performers, who are there to catch you unaware and change the familiar sites of the dinosaur park into an unknown and unpredictable environment, will immediately begin to appear. There is a range of refreshments and snacks available to enjoy throughout your experience, including candy cane cables and coffee to keep your adrenaline up throughout the night.

There are five attractions for you to experience during your time in the park. It is worth getting there early to ensure that you can enjoy all elements of the entertainment provided as you might be in for a little wait between each of the attractions. There are VIP tickets available to allow you to jump the queues if you think this will detract away from your experience, but just because you are standing in a queue, does not mean you are not in for a scare.

The Crypt is located at St Cuthbert’s on the hill, and it is a real sensory experience. You will be asked to wear headphones as you enter and walk around in a chain with your group. You are unable to hear those around you as you have music playing in your ears but must feel your way through the darkness and encounter the feeling that there is always somebody there who was not a member of your group but an evil entity wishing to make you an addition to the old graveyard.

As you go to Route 666, you will have the opportunity to take a memorable photo, to capture your experience with props and take home a unique keepsake. Route 666 takes you on a journey through the woods where you meet Pa and his hillbilly family who are waiting for you to join them. This winding journey takes you through the dark of the woods where you never know who’s going watching you or waiting for you as you make your way through the family’s territory.

Hell’s Hollow is another attraction that plays to your senses and transports you through to a different time. You are asked to place a bag over your head as you find yourself lost in the woods with a Murderer on the loose who is keen on your eyes. Your group will find some helpful characters along the way but beware of those who may be lurking.

Mayhem Manor Hotel is full of mazes and endless corridors as you try and navigate your way to your hotel room. You find yourself going behind the scenes of the hotel during its renovations. Not to worry, there are plenty of staff and guests who are willing to help you along the way to find your room. This is certainly not for the faint hearted as there are plenty of jump scares round each corner; you certainly aren’t in for a restful stay.

The Circus of Terror finds you greeted by a Jester who is moved into the circus and has gathered lost souls, trying to give them a place to call them their own. Beware; if you are a lost soul too, they might try and recruit you to spend an eternity with them in the carnival of fear.

All told, this is a very unique experience for Norfolk. It’s a must to get you in the mood for Halloween. The staff must be highly commended for their commitment to their roles, as they will chase you out the park when it’s time to leave but until then stay thoroughly involved and create a memorable spooktacular experience.
