This happens right in the heart of Silicon Valley, and while they don’t offer tours of their HQ, you can visit other areas such as The Company Store, the only Apple store in the world to provide branded merchandise. You can also view, from outside, the garage and former home of Steve Jobs, letting you see where the world’s large company was formed.

Behind the scenes of Ebay
At the forefront of ecommerce, Ebay is a go-to place for many shoppers across the world. Its HQ is located in San Francisco, and although members of the public are not allowed inside Ebay facilities, you can take a look around on a Silicon Valley guided tour!

Googleplex
Arguably one of the most influential organisations in the world, it keeps most of its headquarters under wraps and away from the public eye, but you can visit some areas of the campus. Visit some of the interesting sites and explore how Google have established such an amazing setup for their headquarters. Complete with award-winning cafes and even a huge iron T-Rex on the main campus, this is definitely an eye-opening visit for anyone!

Inspire the next generation
Silicon Valley has so many other sights to offer, ready and waiting to inspire the next set of programmers and computer experts. The Computer History Museum is home to the largest international collection of computer artifacts, allowing you to learn the history of computers, compare the devices from years gone by as technology has developed over 2000 years.
While in Silicon Valley you can also visit the Intel Computer Museum and birthplace of Hewlett Packard – a little shed in the area of Palo Alto rented by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard in 1939. The possibilities to immerse yourself in technology are endless in San Francisco!
