ORYX Gaming forges ahead with its European expansion

Slovenian iGaming software provider ORYX Gaming is making headway in the regulated iGaming markets throughout Europe.

The studio, based in the capital of Ljubljana, has expanded into one of the leading providers of turnkey iGaming solutions. Its omnichannel capabilities have caught the eye of many leading iGaming operators across the continent, providing a slick and intuitive gaming experience across desktop and mobile.

The studio, which is regulated and licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) – one of Europe’s most stringent iGaming jurisdictions – has played a key role in the launch of some of the newest online casinos in the Netherlands’ newly formed iGaming scene. ORYX’s full turnkey iGaming solution was supplied to JACKS.NL – the virtual brand of the land-based Jack’s Casino.

JACKS.NL is owned and operated by JVH Gaming & Entertainment Group, one of the leading players in the Dutch casino industry. The ORYX Gaming solution provided a full range of casino gaming titles – including some of their own proprietary games from their in-house studios – along with a comprehensive online sportsbook and a string of live dealer games powered by Evolution Gaming. ORYX Gaming’s strong regulatory position, having been respected and licensed as part of the Bragg Gaming Group, made it a simple transition for Jack’s Casino into the online iGaming business.

JACKS.NL wasn’t the only Dutch site to enlist the services of ORYX Gaming either, with BetCity.nl also leaning on ORYX’s turnkey solution to offer a full iGaming experience to its Dutch customers – many of whom will have been offline customers at Casino City nationwide.

Long overdue industry recognition arrives

ORYX Gaming’s player engagement product FUZE™ has also recently been nominated for Casino Product of the Year at the 2022 Global Gaming Awards. This ceremony is one of the most iconic and celebrated awards in the global iGaming sector, with its FUZE™ platform designed to help iGaming operators ‘gamify’ their casino titles, whether it’s real-time player leaderboards or slot gaming challenges. All of which is designed to increase the customer’s experience.

In November, ORYX Gaming also secured a highly-coveted licence from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) which is just as respected as a licence from the MGA. The UK’s iGaming industry is undoubtedly one of the biggest in Europe. The UKGC’s most recent statistics, published in May 2021, show that the online casino sector generated a gross gambling yield (GGY) of £3.1bn between April-September 2020. This equated to over three-quarters of the entire gambling industry since the overall GGY for the same period was £4bn. The online scene is vibrant, with the top new slots changing all the time, thanks largely to the creativity and innovation of development studios like ORYX. Many of these new slots will have new mechanics and graphics, making them visible compared to older titles.

ORYX also recently partnered with the White Hat Gaming platform, which contains a string of prominent iGaming operators that serve UK-based players. ORYX Gaming’s proprietary iGaming content will be shared with White Hat Gaming’s network before the end of the year, with more to follow in 2022.

Bragg Gaming Group’s chief commercial officer, Chris Looney, said the arrangement with White Hat Gaming “meets [their] goals” as they seek to “leverage [their] new licence” in the UK. There’s no doubt that ORYX Gaming titles are going to be a great addition to any iGaming operator’s portfolio for many years ahead.
