Jane McDonald Live! Review by Alex Wiseman
I booked my tickets back in February of this year. I had to call as I couldn’t get into my online account and I waited about 40 minutes.
At last though, I was able to say, “I am going to see Jane McDonald!”
I have been a huge fan of Jane for so many years. I love her honesty and humour. In between songs, you could have almost forgotten you were at a concert as Jane was just as funny as some of the comedians I have seen live.
Jane travels with a fantastic live band made up of a musical director, drummer, percussion, she was also aided by an awesome lead guitarist & bass guitarist and 3 backing singers. It was such a professional and fun show to go and see.
We were treated to lots of awesome covers, but also some of the beautiful songs Jane has written. The most beautiful moment of the night came when she sang a song which was written for her mother, who sadly passed away a few months ago.
So, what do I say to anyone who hasn’t been?
Go and book tickets! It was the most fun I have ever had at a live show. We laughed, sang, danced, clapped and cheered. Five stars.
During the show, Jane announced that she had chartered a ship for people to book a ‘Cruise with Jane McDonald’. To say I am excited would be an understatement; I just need to persuade my husband that it’s what we should be booking next! For more details, visit: https://jane-mcdonald.com/
We saw Jane McDonald live at Norwich Theatre Royal ,which is a superb venue on our doorstep. Have a look at their website to see the diverse range of shows coming in the months ahead and book. https://secure.theatreroyalnorwich.co.uk/Online/
Thank you, Jane, for giving us a night to remember and we, THE SELL OUT CROWD, hope you come back again soon!
