Transfer News from the UK
Let’s have a look at the transfer news coming out of the UK a week before the Euros kick off.
The summer tournament is sure to put a lot of new talented players in the shop window, add or deduct value from some of the big stars.
The biggest summer transfer will be one of the youngsters Kylan Mbappe or Erling Haaland. The 20-year old Erling Haaland has a not so secret release clause of 70m Euros that will allow clubs to purchase him as of next season. This story is set to run and run because a lot of clubs want him and which club doesn’t need a 30 goal a season front man?
Both Manchester teams want him but bad relations with his agent Mina Raiola and Pep, and Haaland’s dad and Roy Keane whilst captain of Manchester United, may mean that he is persuaded to join Chelsea who is also a front runner for his signature. Whichever club gets him, he will be a welcome addition to the Premiership. He is valued at 140 million because Dortmund wants a premium if he goes a year early. They can offer him champions league next season after qualifying for the champions league just. Had they not, Haaland and possibly Jadon Sancho leaving would have been a surety.

Managers Gone
There is probably more talk about manager moves than players right now. The manager merry go round gathers pace especially as 6 high profile vacancies arose in the space of just 4 days. Conte left cash strapped Inter Milan, caretaker manager Ryan Mason has not been given an extension at Tottenham Hotspur, Wolves lost Nunez, Everton lost Ancelotti, old man Hodgson retired as head coach of Crystal Palace and Zidane left Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho & Ancelotti
For Tottenham, the departure of Jose Mourinho means big changes afoot for Harry Kane, Gareth Bale, and Son from Spurs. Gareth Bale may have a clean slate with whoever comes in and also at his home club Real Madrid where Ancelotti has taken over. The 2 British players are due to compete at the Euros this month. See if England has the players and the draw to make the tournament a success.
Zidane
Whilst manager, Zidane froze out Bale, to the extent he was pictured snoozing on the subs bench at Madrid, he is more likely to find favor with the Italian Ancelotti who respects him more or a new manager at Tottenham and prove he is worth keeping. Bale’s high wages and transfer fee mean Tottenham are unlikely to have enough cash to buy Bale on a permanent deal but they may decide to renew his loan especially if they lose their other stars Kane and Son.
Kane has made it public that he wants to win, anything, just something at club level. Likely, he may end up at Manchester City who needs to replace Aguero, and Jesus has really not been the saviour up until now. However, they are probably more keen to get a younger striker in the form of yes Haaland, or say Lukaku as is their club policy.
