Britain’s First Bugatti Dealership Opens In London
Britain’s first Bugatti dealership opened with the posh venue the only place in the UK to order its new £2 MILLION hypercar.
The Bugatti Chiron, which replaces the legendary Veyron, is on display in the glitzy Mayfair showroom ahead of deliveries later this year.
It is regarded as one of the most hotly-anticipated cars in recent years, with pundits speculating it could get close to 300mph.
The Chiron will have a 8-litre engine developing almost 1,500bhp – giving it a 0-62mph time of around 2 seconds.
Bugatti is yet to officially reveal the price of the Chiron, but it is expected to be around £2 million.
But the French company, which is part of the Volkswagen Group, did reveal yesterday (26/7) it has already taken 15 orders from Britain alone.
It is most likely the sales have been done through Anita Krizsan, who is H.R. Owen’s Bugatti brand director, and the person who has sold more Veyrons than anyone else in the world.
She said: “The Chiron is the greatest car in the world, and it is only right that it has a showroom that reflects that.
“We aim to deliver the most exclusive, most luxurious and most bespoke service of any car dealership in the world.”
There are currently 65 Bugatti Veyron owners in the UK – with the Super Sport version of the icon still officially the world’s fastest car thanks to its top speed of 269mph.
The Chiron will be limited to 261mph ‘for road use’, but it is expected to be considerably quicker than the Veyron Super Sport with the limiter removed.
Dr Stefan Brungs, who is on the board at Bugatti, was at the opening of the showroom on Tuesday morning.
He said: “London is one of the most important locations for Bugatti worldwide. Many of our current customers love this city and have a residence here.
“The launch of H.R. Owen Bugatti means that we are now able to serve our exclusive clientele in a perfect setting.
“With the expert and experienced team at H.R. Owen, we know that customers in London and from the rest of the UK will be wonderfully looked after right from the very start of their ownership experience.”
