Iceni Magazine Issue 28 (August Issue)

It’s August! How did that happen? We blinked and the summer holidays were upon us, as is issue 28.

We are halfway through the GoGo Dragon Trail and to celebrate we have had a rather remarkable front cover commissioned by Todd Henderson & James McNulty, author and illustrator of ‘The Dragons Disguise’ a fantastic children’s picture book series. Todd and James have also made a one off GoGo Dragons special book, entitled ‘The GoGo Dragons Disguise’ which generously donates all its proceeds to break (so go out and grab a copy).

You can met Todd and James in person on Sunday 16^th August at Colman’s Opticians’ Sunday reading festival. As well as hearing The Dragons Disguise read by Todd, James will be drawing unique images with the help of the children attending.

Over August there are many wonderful local events taking place around Norfolk, including Thetford who has its annual Great Festival.  An eclectic mix of activities spread over 2 weeks (August 21^st – September 6^th) which really show Thetford off at its best, from bird watching to cricket there is something for all the family.
