Raising money for the Big C charity, the team at Happisburgh Lifeboat Station are hosting an open day. This is your perfect opportunity to see behind the scenes and delve into the world of saving lives. Refreshments will be available.

Swans Awake, WWT Welney, Littleport – Sunday 19th January – 6.30 – 9am

See the swans waking up for the day with guidance from the experienced warden. Each winter, thousands of Bewick’s and Whooper swans migrate to the UK from colder countries. This is one of the best opportunities to see them up close and personal. Access to the wildlife photography hide is available. Breakfast can be bought with the choice of a hot breakfast or lighter butty option.

Strikes Scratch Tournament, Strikes, Dereham – Sunday 19th January – 9am – 2.30pm

With a prize fund of £300 (based on 20 entries), this tournament could be a fun way to spend your Sunday. Registration begins at 9am ready for a 9.30 start. Entry costs £25 per competitor. The top three will then enter the step ladder final with a fourth wildcard entry picked at random.

Love vintage? Then this is definitely the place for you. Sift through 6 tonnes of vintage, retro and preloved clothing to bag yourself a bargain. At just £15 per kilogram, this is a great way to shop. Mirrors and fitting rooms will be available on the day with scales dotted around the room to keep your spending in check. Entry costs just £1.50 all day.
