Raveningham, Gardens, Summer, Sunday, Openings,

Raveningham Gardens has a series of special Summer Sunday openings this year. The gardens will be open every Sunday from July 16 to August 27, 11am to 4pm.

This is in addition to the main garden opening, Monday to Friday, 11am to 4pm to August 31.

The Summer Sundays coincide with Raveningham’s Agapanthus Season. Richard Hobbs, one of the gardening experts on BBC Radio Norfolk’s Garden Party and Raveningham’s garden consultant, will lead Agapanthus Tours in the garden on Sunday, July 16 at 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm. Tours start from the tearoom courtyard and are included in the garden entry charge.

The agapanthus varieties are one of Priscilla Bacon’s legacies in the garden; she was a keen agapanthus breeder. See white, blue and dark purple flowers with different sizes and contrasting colours included striped blue and white.
