Team Naked Element was invited to the inaugural networking event for the Norfolk Food and Drink Network. Held at The Library restaurant expectations were high! We had also been promised free booze, and if there’s anything that will get the NE guys and gals to stay late after work it’s the offer of a few drinks. Also in attendance were Spice N Tice renowned for their range of all things spice!

Local brewery Redwell were the special guests and one of the founders gave a talk about setting up the business, the mistakes they made and the awards they had won. The brewer had a number of samples to share with everyone (hooray!) and they were most appreciated! They also had a new product to show off, Bullards gin, which they distil inside the Ten Bells pub (you can watch the process through a window). I drew the line at a shot of neat gin, but one of my colleagues helped me to ‘dispose’ of the free sample.

There were canapés from The Library’s kitchen (the chicken skewers were especially delicious) and there were a few familiar faces as well as a lot of new ones. For a first event the turnout was amazing, the room was only just about big enough! Looking forward to the next event in April.
