Hype Marketing celebrates its second year in business
Startup to Success
Norwich agency Hype Marketing celebrates its second year in business this month.
Launched in November 2015 as a strategic, digital and creative marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses grow further, faster, Hype has itself gone from strength to strength.
Starting with just one client, Aston Shaw – one of East Anglia’s leading accountancy firms – Hype now works with around forty clients of all shapes and sizes.
Hype works with a variety of clients from accountants to healthcare providers, restaurants and jewellery retailers. They also work with many local and international charities such as Care for Children, Norwich Film Festival and the Wherry Yacht Club.
Putting their money where their mouth is:
Hype also helped renovate and relaunch the Union Building, a rundown office block which had been unoccupied and fallen into disrepair for many years.
They helped redesign the interior, brand the building, design and build the website and ran the social media campaign for them.
By way of demonstrating their confidence in the born again building, Hype were the first business to move in. The building has about 90% occupancy now.
Hype didn’t stop there: they rebranded and helped launch the successful Rooftop Gardens restaurant, based at the very top of the Union Building which has spectacular views of the city and Cathedral.
The team has also worked with regional organisations like FSB East Anglia, and has recently expanded their client base to outside of Norfolk with clients in Oxford, London and Cambridge.
All in the space of two short and very busy years:
The team has already won three industry awards for their creative work.
Managing Director, Natasha Carr, was awarded winner of the Institute of Directors East of England, Early Stage Business Director of the Year Award 2017.
And Creative Specialist, Alysia Schuetzle has just been shortlisted for the DeveloperHER Eye for Design Award 2017.
Founder Natasha Carr is optimistic about the future:
“The variety of businesses we’ve had the privilege to work with over the last two years, along with the ever-changing digital landscape that comes as part of working in our industry, has kept things exciting! We’ve learnt so much and I’m very much looking forward to what the future holds.
We’re looking to work with SMEs and large businesses too – nothing will hold us back – but startups are key to our success too because being one ourselves means we understand their position and needs very well. Essentially, helping any business grow, helps us grow. That’s the ethos driving us on.”
