1st December with a vibrant and magical programme of live entertainment and so much more! So, step away from your no deposit casinos, your kasyna bez depozytu, your Casino ohne Einzahlung… and get yourself down there!

The Greenwich Winter Time Festival has been designed to complement the stunning grounds of Sir Christopher Wren’s riverside masterpiece, the iconic world heritage listed Old Royal Naval College. The festival aims to break new ground in the seasonal market and will transform this popular and historic location into the ultimate Christmas destination for families for the whole month of December.

Greenwich Winter Time Festival will offer a distinct alternative to customary winter events with its own individual style. Embracing the heart-warming traditions of the season, this new winter festival is set to give visitors a truly unforgettable experience with 3-hour sessions daily and with a line-up of daytime and evening events. Neil O’Brien from the Greenwich Winter Time Festival team commented:

‘Our aim is to provide a warm, fun, inclusive and safe environment for all ages, mixing old traditions with new. The festival aims to push boundaries by creating an exceptional and affordable experience for all. Within the 3-hour session you can go ice skating, shop at the most Instagrammable market ever, taste some of the best food and drink London has to offer, watch up to three different shows on our mirrored stage, be entertained by our street performers or simply soak up the atmosphere of Christmas. We have the uniquely designed Father Christmas launch pad set to mesmerise children of all ages”.

Entering the festival you will be welcomed by a community of performers – actors, musicians, jugglers, magicians – who will entertain and lead throughout each 3-hour experience. Across the site, Artisan street food and seasonal treats will be provided by Greenwich Kitchen and many more suppliers. The Greenwich Winter Time Ice Rink, which has a clear cover for enjoyment in all weather, will host skilled freestyle ice-skaters who will open each public skating session with an exhilarating show of jaw-dropping dancing on ice. The bespoke covered ice rink will sit under a clear canopy with sparkling lights, allowing families, couples and groups to skate under the stars whilst listening to bespoke music composed by students from Trinity Laban Conservatoire.

Housed under a giant stretched canopy, the Mirror Stage will anchor the main live programme that includes an excellent selection of performers, bands, DJs and choirs. Announced acts include Martine McCutcheon, The Puppini Sisters, widely regarded as the world’s leading close-harmony group, The Magnets, with their beatboxing vocal gymnastics and Sons Of Pitches (as featured in new Sky 1 show Ultimate Acapella).  Other musical acts include The Funkin’ Voices, who perform well known jazz and popular songs in thrilling four-part harmony; star of the West End’s The Rat Pack, festival favourites Uncle Funk and Boogie Wonderband playing a wide range of 70’s disco classics; and Miss Kiddy and the Cads, a unique vintage musical sensation from the jazz cabaret and festival circuit who will perform with a 5-piece band and stunning tap dancer.  Choirs include the London Nordic Choir, Greenwich-based London Soul Choir and Welsh choir and Classic Brit Award winners, Only Men Aloud; bands including the Hackney Colliery Band and Kansas Smitty’s House Band and DJs including the legendary Wendy May’s Locomotion; alternatively guests can enjoy the Silent Disco..

Adding to the family offering are talented magicians Morgan and West,  the East London Brass performing Howard Blake’s iconic music live to accompany Christmas classic film The Snowman, which will be projected on huge screens for the whole family to enjoy, and a spectacular Father Christmas Experience which will allow families to join him in his magical ‘launch pad’ at the start of his busy Christmas journey. In addition, there will be a stage adaptation of Nicholas Allan’s The Giant’s Loo Roll.

Greenwich Winter Time Market will be a curated market featuring the finest independent artists from London and beyond, design-led creative brands, retailers and businesses, alongside many from the entrepreneurial Instagram community and local Greenwich area. The market will be aesthetically different to other traditional Christmas markets, as each participating brand and business will be situated in a bespoke geometric framed pod, hand built in a white steel box covered in opal polycarbonate. Instagram-based brands include Cissy Wears – with nearly 60,000 Instagram followers – Parent Apparel, Lapin and Me, Esme Grey Designs, From Babies With Love, Inpolife, Coco + Indie, Acorn & Will, Esa Evans, KeriKit bags, Rockbox and A Weathered Penny plus more to be announced. Throughout December there will be various guest curators on board with the market, including Hustle & Fox and Nicola Eyre, who runs the kids concept store Cissy Wears.

More acts are still to be announced, and the festival will culminate in a spectacular closing night gala on New Year’s Eve.

Greenwich Winter Time Festival runs from 1–31 December, with tickets from £15 for adults and £8 for children.
